It's official, I am packed and ready to board the plane in the morning. Did I mention that my flight leaves at 6:05...bright and early. That means that I need to be up, well, in several hours, around 3:30. Ouch. The good news is that I will be in Oregon around 11:00 their time. My first night there is always a long one. By the time I go to bed, it's really three hours later for me.
I talked to Paige yesterday and she seems excited for me to come out. She told me to bring the necessities, "your iPod and your swimsuit." She also spilled the beans about a Webkinz that is waiting for me. Auntie Mar told me that they have been spending some time at the Swim Park already this year. This Swim Park is the lake that my aunt and uncle have "rights" to. It's divided into three sections, each separated by a dock. The first year we spent most of our time in the kiddie pool, simply splashing around. Last year we graduated to the first section of the lake. Gwynn worked on her swim strokes while Paige practiced being on her own (even though she preferred to hold on to me). I'm wondering if this year Gwynn is ready for the second section which is a bit deeper than the first. I'm pretty sure I will stay in the first section with Paige. I don't mind. It's a chance to stay cool and get a tan.
So, I'm off. Hopefully my flight will go off without a hitch. No missing luggage, no delays, no problems. Keep your fingers crossed.

woo hoo - you're on your way... we cannot wait to see you and gwynn and paige are sooooo looking forward to having a great summer with you..you will be spending a lot of time at the swim park for sure and gwynn is certainly ready for the 2nd pool...however, it requires taking a 'test' and like her nana taking a test is not her favorite thing to do... but - she may even graduate to go off the diving board if she takes it so we'll have to keep encouraging her.. for sure paige will love for you to hold on to her or use your thumbs to be pulled around... all fun and lots of quality cousin time in store.. we'll see you in a bit di.. safe travels..xoxoxo
It's 11 AM in France which means it's 5 AM in CT...so you're probably waiting for your flight!! Hope you get a good movie to watch. Have fun at the swim park and keep Paige and Gwynn partying like rock stars ;) Love ya!
Have a great time in Oregon. Sounds like you'll get out alot with the girls and the swim park sounds wonderful. Time will go by quickly I'm sure. Before you know it you'll be back here and we'll be having a little family reunion!
