Monday Auntie Mar had to go into the office for an early meeting and Uncle Mark had to fly to San Francisco for business so it was just me and the girls. We started our morning with a walk to Bean Street for breakfast, coffee, and a smoothie.
Today was another day at home. Auntie Mar went into the office again and Uncle Mark worked from home. We started the morning playing inside but soon it felt like we all had cabin fever. Paige even hid in the ottoman, covered in blankets. The girls and I decided a bike ride to Westlake Park would help. We had fun riding through the neighborhood, playing hide-n-seek, and "driving" on the playscape.
Here are some pictures.
After lunch-leftover Baja Fresh...I sure do love that place :)-the girls and I played a game of Disney Minopoly Junior. I think the girls had more fun eating the candy than playing the game.
Sometime during the afternoon I stopped watching two little girls and ended up with ducks on my hands. These ducks kept quacking and "swimming" in the "lake." Luckily I got a picture so I'll be on the look-out for these "ducks." Let me know if you see them around your area. I think they are flying to CT soon.

I think I mentioned this last summer...but we should try our hand at making granola with the girls when we're all in Connecticut. There are tons of recipes out there and the girls could help pick out nuts and fruit to put in it. Just another idea to keep the fun in the kitchen going :)
Sounds like those ducks are keeping you busy! We'll have to try to get to the beach when they arrive in CT. Glad you are having fun and I LOVE your blog. XOXO
