Sleepover anyone???

Today we got a delayed start due to our later night. After some breakfast we went for a walk/bikeride down to Bean Street. Gwynn, Paige and Uncle Mark rode their bikes while Auntie Mar and I put our legs to work by walking. All was going well until I twisted my right foot which then made me trip on my right foot breaking my memory foam Adidas flip flops. I was so bummed. I had to walk the rest of the way with a broken shoe. Needless to say I will be returning to Kohls for a replacement pair.

When we got home, Auntie Mar started working on the yard, pulling weeds. After spending some time with Gwynn and Paige, I retreated to the living room to watch my Red Sox play the Yankees. While I watched the game, I folded a couple loads of laundry and put away the dishes in the sink. Uncle Mark took the girls to Bark in the Park at PGE Park, home of the Portland Beavers. Today, fans could bring their furry friends to the game. You know what this means..the girls brought Nibbles the Honey Bear Hamster. Here's a picture of me holding her...I might have to get one for the class next year.

Gwynn headed back over to Kelsey's house for a sleepover tonight while Paige hung around with us. I think she enjoyed some of the special alone time with her family. She even had a chance to dress-up her dad. What do you think? Isn't he such a Pretty Pretty Mets Princess?!?!?
After dinner, I ran to the store to get the supplies to make Doubletree cookies. I then realized how long it would take and opted for the break and bake sugar cookies instead. Paige had fun helping me put them on the cookie sheet. We even stuck some Reese cups in too.

We made our way outside to relax. Paige and Uncle Mark ended up over by the play structure while Auntie Mar got the fire going. I wrote a blog about last night and watched Auntie Mar enjoy working with fire again. I guess my Mom was right about her liking to put things on fire. I guess I know where I got it from. Thanks Auntie Mar.Now it's time to go inside (since I am now writing this in the dark on the patio) and watch a movie with Auntie Mar. We are trying to decide between Juno and 27 Dresses. Hmmmm...which one will it be? Which would you choose?

Which did you pick - Juno or 27 dresses?? We've seen both, and I would probably pick 27 dresses...just because I don't like the way teen pregnancy is portrayed in Juno...must be because I have 2 teen girls! (well, for one more day, anyway...til Shy turns 20!) Ack...

Bummer about your Adidas...hope they still have your size when you get back to Kohls!

What about Paige lecturing me about marriage and stealing my cell phone? That wasn't blog worthy material?
